Foods of the Month
The Foods of the Month (FoM) Club Kit teaches children, families and staff members about the characteristics of nutrient-dense foods and why they should eat these foods every day. FoM materials can be used in a variety of settings, including schools, summer camps, churches, and other community-based organizations. We also have a variety of "OrganWise-d" MyPlate materials to help promote healthy eating! You can also browse this catalog online.

Spinach, a May Foods of the Month (FoM), can be eaten many different ways. We feature spinach as a FoM because it is full of antioxidants, espeically when eaten fresh! Spinach is also an iron rich food so be sure to include spinach in your diet.

Did you know carbonara pasta is made with eggs? In May, eggs are a Foods of the Month so we are bringing you a healthy version of spaghetti carbonara for a quick and easy weeknight dinner! Healthy Spaghetti Carbonara Ingredients 1 package whole wheat spaghetti 4 eggs, plus 1 egg white 1/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated 10 slices low-fat turkey bacon, cut into small pieces 1 large head of cauliflower, cut into very small pieces 3 garlic cloves, crushed 1 tbsp.
